2020 Democratic Presidential Nominee Weekly Power Rankings - May 29, 2019

This list looks at who I believe currently has the best chance of winning the 2020 Democratic Party nomination for President. Only notable individuals who have announced they are running or have formed an exploratory committee are included. I am not a political expert, so don’t take this too seriously. Feel free to provide feedback.


Notes for This Week:

It's been a quiet week, so not much to report here. It's hard to believe that there have no major entries into the race this past week. We now have 22 candidates of note (by my count), and the first debates are less than a month away. Fortunately, the requirements for the 3rd debates in September have been announced, which should force some candidates out of the race.

Notes: The past few days have seen some articles finally talking about Warren's recent surge in polling.

4. Kamala Harris

Notes: MSNBC hosted a Town Hall for Harris yesterday. One of the interesting things to come out of it is how she plans to federalize abortion laws.
